by | Dec 30, 2018 | Announcements

As part of our “Giving Back” Initiative, Sarvicus provided a donation to the WCS VEX program.  The WCS VEX program is focused on middle school and high school students.  CEO, Marc Packard, provided faculty sponsor, Colleen Leeson, a donation that was also matched dollar for dollar by Sarvicus.

“I have personally attended a VEX tournament.  The event really highlighted how much preparation each student applies to represent their teams.  Engineering, coding, and teamwork are are highlighted in this competitive and challenging program.  To see teams help one another between rounds,  highlights the true spirit of the program” – Marc Packard, CEO, Sarvicus

“… Under Mrs. Leeson’s leadership, our robotics program – which included both classes for credit and extracurricular team competition – has grown to become a recognized force in the VEX Robotics realm.  In the process of inspiring her students to challenge themselves in ways that will have benefits for years to come, she and her student competitors have also brought home noteworthy awards and banners from local, statewide, national, and worldwide competition.” – Michael D. White, Head of School, WCS.
